As a new Air BnB host, it was really important to me to have a great start, starting with my very first guest interaction and booking. I didn’t want to risk any bad reviews that would negatively impact my listing! After reading this, I feel totally ready to launch my listing on Air BnB.
I love that this book is so PRACTICAL. It doesn't just recommend how you should do something, it says, here, copy and paste this message and get going! I love that it had links directly to things like the self-entry door locking mechanism - what a great idea! I recommend this book for anyone trying to improve themselves as a vacation rental host, and especially for any other newbies like me!
I grew up in real estate and property management so I know how time-consuming guest/client communication takes. I can’t believe how much time I was spending answering guest questions. This book really advocates for a self-managing listing which is great for us property owners who have multiple listings. Kate’s templates are helping me to focus on communicating extensive details and information to the guest upfront, and before they start with all the questions!
I also like that I can now trust other people on my team with guest communication because they can use these professionals, clearly written templates too. This makes for super consistent host/guest interaction. Highly recommending this book!
